As a Cook, you’ll play an important role in creating the quality and consistency our guests expect while working alongside a supportive kitchen team.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
• Complete food preparation and cooking efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
• Prepare dishes for guests with food allergies or dietary restrictions while following proper procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and work area
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Assist with receiving, storing, rotating, and organizing food and kitchen supplies
• Monitor food levels and communicate when supplies need to be replenished
• Maintain proper food handling, labeling, and storage practices
• Work closely with other kitchen team members to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
• Assist with prep, line, and other kitchen duties as needed
• Support special events, banquets, and other restaurant functions
• Help maintain inventory and minimize food waste
• Work effectively during busy periods while maintaining a positive and professional attitude

Experience & Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 1–2 years of experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
• Previous line cook or kitchen experience is an asset
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Dependable, reliable, and organized
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Food Safety certification is an asset

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up ready to contribute, and works well with the rest of the team. The right person will be dependable, flexible, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering approximately 30–40 hours per week, with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour. Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and a variety of shifts is required.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
