Responsibilities
- Complete scheduled residential and commercial appliance installation appointments within the assigned service area.
- Install freestanding and built-in appliances, including required water, drain, ventilation and electrical connections within your qualifications.
- Perform gas-related work only where properly licensed and authorized.
- Confirm measurements, access, utility readiness and installation requirements before work begins.
- Level, secure, connect and function-test each appliance before customer handoff.
- Document the completed installation, site conditions and any limitations in the mobile work-order system.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers and business representatives.
Qualifications
- Hands-on appliance-installation experience in residential, commercial or mixed environments relevant to the position.
- Knowledge of appliance clearances and water, drain, electrical and ventilation connection requirements.
- Ability to install, level, secure and test freestanding and built-in appliances carefully.
- Valid driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and the installation tools required for field appointments.
- Professional communication, accurate documentation and the ability to manage scheduled work independently.
- Gas certification or commercial installation experience is an asset when applicable to the role.
- Willingness to identify unsafe or non-compliant site conditions rather than proceeding with unsuitable work.
