Responsibilities
- Travel to scheduled customer appointments and diagnose major household appliance problems methodically.
- Repair refrigerators, laundry appliances, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, cooktops and related equipment within your demonstrated capability.
- Explain findings, recommended work and practical next steps clearly before proceeding with approved repairs.
- Record job notes, photos, parts and test results accurately in the mobile work-order system.
- Protect the customer’s home, maintain an organized work area and verify appliance operation before leaving.
- Follow company procedures, applicable safety practices and manufacturer service information.
- Coordinate parts or follow-up requirements promptly when a repair cannot be completed during the initial visit.
Qualifications
- Practical appliance-repair experience and a working understanding of common residential appliance systems.
- Ability to diagnose faults logically, use basic test equipment and complete repairs independently within your skill level.
- Valid driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and the tools required for scheduled field appointments.
- Clear customer communication, professional presentation and reliable appointment management.
- Comfort using a smartphone for work orders, notes, photos and status updates.
