We are Bad Guy Motor’s. Our company is one of Medicine Hat’s Premier fabrication shops.
We are designers of beautiful custom pieces for the ultimate car, truck, (or any vehicle) you can think of.
We are currently hiring an Autobody Technician/ Painter to join our growing dynamic, family.

Key Responsibilities:
An auto body technician and painter repairs vehicle body damage and restores paint finishes to match factory standards.
- Body Repair: Straightening frames, hammering out dents, welding replacement panels, and applying body filler.
- Surface Preparation: Filing, grinding, sanding, masking, and applying primers to prep vehicles for paint.
- Refinishing & Painting: Mixing custom colors, matching paint codes, operating spray guns in a booth, and polishing final coats.
- Training and Certification in Alberta
- Red Seal: Offers interprovincial mobility,for certified automotive refinishing and collision technicians.

Apprenticeship: Typically involves a multi-period program combining technical classroom instruction and on-the-job training hours.
- Key Skills & Requirements
- Mechanical Aptitude: Critical understanding of automotive components, metal properties, and shop tools.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for long shifts and frequently lift heavy items (often up to 50 lbs).
- Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to workshop safety protocols, including wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) like welding helmets, eye protection, and steel-toed boots.
- Must be dependable and reliable.
- Treating clients with the upmost respect and dignity.
- Able to work with all operations with the company setting.
- Must be organized, able to multi-task and to handle some stress.
