Position Overview

Maverick Concrete is seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our growing team. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing concrete formwork and related structures on residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This role requires precision, strong knowledge of construction methods, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, maintains high safety standards, and is committed to delivering quality results that meet project specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and dismantle concrete formwork for foundations, walls, slabs, columns, and other structural elements
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
• Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials according to project requirements
• Install framing, bracing, and supports for concrete pours
• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and structural integrity of forms
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and crew members to complete projects on schedule
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in concrete formwork
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
• Valid driver’s license (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
