Summary
We are seeking a Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team in Redcliff. This role is essential for transporting our products efficiently and safely, supporting our commitment to excellence in the woodworking industry.
Responsibilities
- Operate Class 1 trucks to transport pallets and crates between locations safely and efficiently.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all safety regulations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks when necessary.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
- Comply with transportation laws and company policies.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate loading schedules.
- Assist with other logistical tasks as needed to support operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving within the logistics or manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations in Canada.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs is a plus.
- Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
- Physical ability to load, unload, and handle cargo as required.
