About Us: Total Office Plus is a locally owned and operated supplier of office products, furniture, and workplace solutions serving Southern Alberta. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service, quality products, and competitive pricing to local businesses, schools, and organizations.

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role involves engaging with customers via phone and other communication channels to provide exceptional service, resolve inquiries, and promote our products and services. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and have a passion for helping others. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in customer relations, sales, and data management within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound customer calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Assist customers by answering questions, resolving issues, providing product or service information, and taking product orders
  • Perform accurate data entry to update customer accounts and record interactions efficiently
  • Engage in upselling and sales techniques to promote additional products or services that meet customer needs
  • Greet and assist all walk-in customers with a professional and helpful attitude.
  • Assist with picking customer orders in the warehouse and retail and prepare/pack for delivery
  • Assist with customer deliveries during employee absences or overflow

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail (must be able to type)
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word and other general computer skills
  • Experience in retail or warehouse work
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Be able to lift heavier items as needed (up to 50 lb boxes)
  • Experience in sales or upselling techniques to enhance customer engagement
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Demonstrate ability to work well within a team environment

HOURS: M-F 8:30 AM TO 5:00 PM
