Medicine Hat Home Hardware Business Centre is seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales growth, and support a high-performing team. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, a solid understanding of lumber and building materials, and the ability to deliver excellent service to contractors, vendors, team members, and customers.

What You Will Do:
· Lead all aspects of store operations
· Drive revenue growth through strong sales leadership, contractor relationship management, and a focus on business development opportunities.
· Manage budgets, financial reports, and profitability.
· Hire, train, coach, and develop team members.
· Analyze sales reports, identify trends, and make informed decisions to improve store performance and customer experience.
· Oversee inventory and merchandising
· Build and maintain effective relationships with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and customers through strong communication and negotiation skills.
· Support team members across various roles within the store as needed to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
· Prioritize store-wide tasks, solve problems effectively, and make decisions that support operational excellence.
What We Are Looking For:
· Minimum 5 years of experience in lumber and building materials.
· At least 2 years of management experience in an LBM or similar retail environment.
· Proven ability to lead and manage employees to meet performance and service expectations.
· Demonstrated sales ability with a focus on driving revenue, supporting growth, and building long-term customer and contractor relationships.
· Ability to analyze sales information, identify trends, prioritize tasks, and adapt quickly to changing store needs.
· Class 5 driver’s licence or better.
· High level of integrity, initiative, accountability, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
