Legal Administrative Assistant/Receptionist positions at Pollock & Company in each of our Lethbridge office, AB and Claresholm Office, AB

We have been assisting clients with a wide range of legal services for over 50 years. With a particular interest in advising clients in the areas Personal Injury Claims, Real Estate and Estate Administration, our team is dedicated to providing our clients with timely resolutions to their legal concerns.

We are currently seeking two self-starting and highly organized individuals to join our team. One individual at our Lethbridge office and one individual at our Claresholm office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to grow their career. The successful candidates for these positions will have excellent client service, organization, a keen eye for detail, be able to work under tight deadlines and be able to build positive working relationships.

General office and legal experience is a benefit. Experience working in a law firm in areas of Estates, Family Law, Personal Injury and/or Real Estate would be an asset as well as experience with legal accounting and legal management software.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

· Assist in preparing, reviewing, revising, organizing, printing, scanning and finalizing legal documents and any related due diligence as necessary

· Preparation and drafting of court documents

· Gathering information from various agencies as required on files

· Communication with clients and setting up appointments both in person or by telephone

· Responding promptly to requests, meeting deadlines, and working cooperatively with other departments and individuals within the firm

· Assist with billings, accounts receivable, accounts payable and reporting to clients

Skills Required

· Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting

· Effective written and oral communication

· Good grammar

· Proficient in Word and Excel

· Ability to learn new computer programs

· Detail oriented

· Ability to meet deadlines

Compensation & Hours

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience

Two regular fulltime positions are open, with working hours between 24-37 hours per week. We are seeking individuals at each of our Lethbridge office and Claresholm office.
