MacLean Wiedemann has offices in Medicine Hat and Brooks and handles a wide variety of legal matters. Our firm is seeking an experienced full-time permanent Legal Assistant to join our team in the wills and estates department.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of legal assistant experience, or a Legal Assistant Diploma from an accredited college (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Strong computer and typing capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Highly organized, with the ability to take initiative, manage time effectively, and set priorities.
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Careful attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle confidential information ethically and discreetly.
- Positive attitude and a strong sense of teamwork.
Our firm offers benefits and a competitive salary based on experience. Hours of work will be Monday through Friday 8:30 to 4:30.
