Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and standards
• Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
• Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
• Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment
• Assist in inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supply needs

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
• Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
• Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
• Serving experience is a plus, demonstrating customer-focused service skills
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including food presentation and plating techniques
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in dish quality
• Passion for culinary arts with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and safety

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
