Job Description:
· Operate equipment to assist in the production process
· Maintain the warehouse’s equipment
· Wrapping, bending steel and preparing order for shipment
· Store products and material
· Assemble materials and equipment as required
· Meet deadlines of individual production tasks during shift
· Report on defective products or equipment
· Assist in the loading of raw materials to the production line
· Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met
· Conduct inspections and quality control of products
· Check stock levels and report deficiencies in products or raw materials
· Keep the worksite clean to avoid hazards
· Review and follow manufacturing manuals
· Transfer equipment manually or with forklift trucks
· Follow the company’s safety and quality guidelines
Qualifications:
· Prior experience in a production setting preferred
· Understand basic fraction calculations and read a tape measure
· Sharp attention to detail in favour of identifying defects
· Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
· Experience with general power tools, skill saw, circular saw
· Good understanding of how production equipment works
· Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures
· Flexible to work shifts, overtime and weekends as required
· Able to stand for long hours at a time
· Ability to lift heavy loads up to and including 50 lbs
· Good communication and teamwork skills
· Clean driver’s abstract, Class 5 license, forklift ticket
