IJACK is a ground-breaking manufacturer of optimization equipment for the oil and gas industry. Our cutting-edge products—including patented casing gas compression systems, multiphase pumps, and vapor recovery units—are designed to increase efficiency and boost oil production for our customers.
Headquartered in Moosomin, Saskatchewan, with established service hubs in Leduc, Alberta, and Williston, North Dakota, IJACK is expanding its service network and looking to establish a new service location in the Strathmore/Brooks/Lethbridge area. We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our tight-knit, passionate team and help support our growing customer base across Western Canada.
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for commissioning, maintaining, and servicing IJACK equipment on oil and gas leases. You will also provide technical support and training to our valued clients and contribute to the continuous improvement of our products and processes.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the oil and gas service industry and heavy-duty mechanics.
Responsibilities:
- Install and commission IJACK's products on oil and gas leases
- Diagnose, service, repair and perform routine maintenance on IJACK's equipment
- Provide technical support and training to operators via phone, email and in-person.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
- Participate in service inventory management in your designated warehouse
- Work in safe manner and participate in toolbox and safety meetings.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical skills
- Ability to travel for work and be away from home at least two days per week
- Ability to diagnose and repair technical issues.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to be approved under the company's vehicle insurance policy

Pay: $30.00-$42.00 per hour
