Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Stucco Plasterer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in applying stucco and plaster finishes, with a strong understanding of building techniques and safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, contributing to the aesthetic and structural quality of residential and commercial buildings. A background in construction painting, carpentry, and handyman work is highly valued, along with the ability to read blueprints and perform caulking tasks.
Duties
- Apply stucco, plaster, and related finishes to interior and exterior surfaces according to project specifications.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or repairing as needed before application.
- Mix materials accurately to ensure proper consistency and adherence.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or technical instructions to execute projects correctly.
- Perform caulking around windows, doors, and joints to ensure weatherproofing and finish quality.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during application processes.
- Coordinate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Assist with carpentry tasks or other handyman duties as required on-site.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in stucco application, plastering, or related construction work.
- Knowledge of construction painting, carpentry, caulking, and blueprint reading is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow safety protocols diligently.
- Handyman experience is a plus for versatility on job sites.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights when necessary.
- Reliable work ethic with excellent teamwork skills.
