We’re looking for a Grooming Assistant to join our team at Bone & Biscuit in West Lethbridge.
This role is perfect for someone who loves dogs, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and is interested in learning the grooming trade. For the right person, there is opportunity to grow into a grooming role over time.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Bathing and drying dogs to groomer standards
- Brushing, de-shedding, and basic coat prep
- Nail trims and ear cleaning
- Supporting the groomer throughout the day
- Cleaning and maintaining the grooming area (tubs, kennels, tools, floors)
- Helping with client communication (check-ins, pick-ups, updates)
What We’re Looking For:
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Reliable and consistent
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Previous animal or grooming experience is an asset, but not required

Position Details:
- Part-time to start (with potential to grow)
- Weekdays 8:15 AM- 2:30PM (flexible)
