Job Title: Full-Time Landscape Construction Labourer
Location: Medicine Hat, AB
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Full-Time Landscape Construction Labourer. The primary role of this position will be to assist in landscape installations and maintenance, with a focus on planting and irrigation ensuring the overall neatness and aesthetic appeal of our properties. This is a full-time position offering consistent hours and competitive compensation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general labour tasks with a varierty of hand and small engine motorized tools.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of work sites, including clearing debris and ensuring proper disposal.
- Support the team in other landscape construction tasks, such as paver installation, base preparation, irrigation installation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients, addressing any concerns or inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Maintain and organize equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.
- Follow instructions and guidelines provided by supervisors to achieve desired results.
Requirements:
- Valid class 5 driver's license is mandatory.
- Previous experience in landscape construction/irrigation or related field is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of various landscape maintenance and installation techniques and familiarity with small engine equipment is an asset.
- Experience with truck and trailer, skid steer loader or ride on loaders considered an asset.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
