Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Marijuana Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, educate clients on product options, and ensure a welcoming and professional environment. This role requires a strong understanding of cannabis products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate cannabis products based on their needs and preferences
- Educate clients on product effects, usage, and legal regulations to ensure responsible consumption
- Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions and cash handling
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure product availability
- Upsell products to enhance customer experience and maximize sales opportunities
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and assist with stock organization
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Handle cash register operations, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and work area
- Support team leadership in daily store operations and customer engagement initiatives
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, hospitality, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities such as French are advantageous
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word; basic computer skills required for POS operation and filing
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for stocking or inventory management
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and time management capabilities
- Familiarity with merchandising, upselling techniques, and POS systems is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual or multilingual candidates will be prioritized for their ability to serve diverse clientele

Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 25 per week
