Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, possess strong customer service skills, and be knowledgeable in food and beverage service. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing POS transactions, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all patrons. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
- Operate POS systems
- Manage guest orders efficiently using effective time management skills
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure all food handling and food safety protocols are followed during service
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including sanitation of tools and surfaces
- Provide excellent guest services by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns
- Handle cash transactions accurately and balance cash register at shift end
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
- Knowledge of POS systems,
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing purposes
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy hours
- Hospitality mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and upselling techniques
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol according to local regulations
