Job Summary
We're looking for a friendly, energetic and professional Host/Hostess to be the first smile our guests see when they walk through our doors. This role is vital in ensuring guests have a positive first impression and enjoy a seamless dining experience.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage wait times efficiently
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Handle reservations and manage seating arrangements to optimize flow
- Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess station
- Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assist with reservations, and address guest inquiries
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Assist with guest needs throughout their visit, ensuring excellent customer service standards are met
- Support the team during busy hours by assisting with basic food service tasks if needed
Requirements
- Restaurant experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse guests effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- A friendly demeanor with a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences
