Breakfast Attendant (4 positions) – SureStay by Best Western
Sun City Hotels Ltd is scaling. Fast.
We operate the award‑winning Best Western Premier / Executive Residency, currently ranked the #1 hotel in Medicine Hat, and are growing our portfolio with newly acquired, soon to be renovated and rebranded iconic Medicine Hat property.
We are hiring 4 Breakfast Attendants to deliver a consistently excellent complimentary breakfast experience for our guests, seven days a week.
This is not just a “put food out” role. This is a set the tone for the guest’s day opportunity.
What You’ll Own
- Set‑up, stocking, and presentation of the complimentary breakfast buffet, following brand and food‑safety standards
- Proactive guest service: greeting guests, explaining offerings, and responding to requests or dietary needs
- Continuous cleanliness of the breakfast area, including bussing tables, wiping surfaces, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace
- Monitoring food quality and freshness, promptly replenishing items, and preparing basic items as trained
- Closing and breakdown: safe storage and labeling of food, cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces, waste management
- Clear handover and communication with Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Leadership on guest feedback or issues
What We’re Looking For
- 6–12+ months of customer service or food & beverage experience preferred (hotel breakfast experience an asset; we will train the right person)
- Ability to start work reliably at 5:00 am and work weekends and holidays as part of a rotating schedule
- Strong attention to detail, pride in cleanliness, and a genuine care for guests’ experience
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, on your feet, with light to moderate lifting (up to ~25–30 lb)
- Food‑safety awareness; ProServe / Food Safe certification an asset or willingness to obtain

Role Details
- Positions: 4 Breakfast Attendants
- Schedule: Shifts between 5:00 am – 11:00 am, scheduled across 7 days per week; weekend and holiday availability required
- Employment: Permanent; mix of part‑time and/or full‑time may be available (to be confirmed during hiring process)
- Location: Medicine Hat, AB
- Must currently reside in the area (or be relocating to Medicine Hat) and be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
