Responsibilities
-
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a variety of instruments and equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments, including electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Install new instruments and equipment as needed.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to solve complex instrument-related issues.
Experience
Prefer Minimum of 10+ years experience as an Instrument Technician & 12+ years as a Journeyman Electrician.

Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and procedures.

Experience working with a variety of instruments, including but not limited to flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, and level indicators.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their operation.

Ability to fabricate or modify instrument components as needed.

Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems.

Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems is preferred.
