We are seeking a full-time Office Administrator / Receptionist to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of our busy office.
This is an important front-facing role for someone who is professional, organized, approachable, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming first impression for customers and visitors while providing administrative support to our office, accounting, and construction teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain regular weekday office hours of 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
- Greet customers, visitors, employees, and other guests in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and respond to general inquiries.
- Manage general office correspondence, including emails, letters, packages, and other communications.
- Maintain and update office records, databases, forms, and other administrative documentation.
- Organize and maintain electronic and paper filing systems, including reports, meeting notes, correspondence, invoices, and other important documents.
- Monitor office supplies and services, including ordering and restocking supplies as required.
- Assist with office organization and employee onboarding, including preparing workspaces, setting up desks and equipment, assigning parking areas, and preparing required forms.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting and construction teams.
- Help identify opportunities to improve office processes, organization, and efficiency.
- Provide general administrative support to colleagues and employees as needed.
- Take initiative to ensure important tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Skills
- A minimum of 2 years of customer service or administrative experience.
- A strong work ethic and a genuine commitment to doing a job well.
- A professional, friendly, and approachable demeanour, with the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of personalities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests and competing priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in both written work and administrative tasks.
- Adaptability and flexibility, with the ability to adjust priorities based on the needs of the business.
- A willingness to take initiative, solve problems, and look for ways to make existing processes more efficient and accurate.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- The ability to work independently while also contributing positively as part of a team.
- A valid driver's licence, clean driver's abstract, and satisfactory police clearance.

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
