Class 1 Driver – Commodity Short Haul Driver
Location: East Lot Coaldale to West Lot Lethbridge
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team, as a commodity short haul driver between feedlots or storage sites daily. This role requires a safety-conscious professional with strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining equipment and timelines. The position involves routine routes with some variation depending on farm and lot schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain Class 1 transport vehicles, including truck and trailer units.
- Load and unload cattle feed efficiently using appropriate equipment or processes.
- Complete daily haulage runs between feedlots, mills, and storage areas as scheduled.
- Wheel loading equipment operation is an asset!
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, feedlot personnel, and management.
- Report any delays, incidents, or maintenance issues promptly.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver’s License with clean driving record.
- Minimum [1–2] years of Class 1 driving experience preferred (agricultural experience an asset).
- Experience hauling agricultural products or bulk materials is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic truck maintenance.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physically fit; capable of lifting up to [50 lbs] and working in varied weather conditions.
- Flexible availability for early morning starts, occasional extended hours, or weekend runs as needed.
