Job Overview
Design Air is seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing residential heating and air conditioning systems. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to advance into an apprenticeship.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems according to specifications and codes
- Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper operation
- Perform maintenance and repairs on existing furnaces and air conditioners
- Collaborate with coworkers and customers to complete projects efficiently and safely
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and codes
- On call rotation
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC is an asset
- Proficiency in sheetmetal, refrigeration, gas, and electrical
- Customer service/relations with great communication
- Follow directions, take initiative, reliable
- Employment Requirements
- Drivers licence with clean abstract
- Able to lift, bend, squat, kneel, climb ladders, etc (mobility)
- Great communication and customer service
