Peerless Building Products is hiring experienced roofers, siders, and skilled exterior installers to join our team. We are also willing to train reliable, hardworking individuals who are interested in starting a career in the exterior construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Install asphalt shingles, metal roofing, siding, soffit, fascia, eavestrough, and other exterior building products
- Assist with repairs, replacements, and new-construction installations
- Measure, cut, fabricate, and install materials accurately
- Follow manufacturer specifications, project requirements, and safety procedures
- Safely use ladders, scaffolding, fall-protection equipment, power tools, and hand tools
- Maintain clean and organized jobsites
- Identify installation concerns and communicate them to supervisors
- Work efficiently as part of a crew while maintaining high workmanship standards
- Learn new installation methods and develop skills through hands-on training
Qualifications
- Previous roofing, siding, or exterior installation experience is an asset but not required
- No experience is necessary for applicants who are dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable performing physical work
- Comfortable working at heights and in changing weather conditions
- Physically capable of lifting materials and performing demanding outdoor work
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation are preferred
- Fall-protection and other relevant safety certifications are assets
- Journeyman certification or equivalent industry experience is an asset for experienced applicants
