Overview Join our dynamic transportation team as a Taxi Driver or Lessee, where your expertise in driving and customer service will create memorable journeys for passengers. Duties
- Safely operate taxis to transport passengers efficiently across designated routes or on-demand trips.
- Ensure passenger safety by adhering to traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service by assisting with luggage, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle to uphold a professional appearance.
- Use GPS navigation systems or maps to determine the most efficient routes and avoid delays.
- Collect fares or process payments accurately using cashless or traditional methods.
- Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly to ensure safety and compliance.
Requirements
- Valid class 4 driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in limousine, commercial driving, bus driving, or paratransit is highly desirable.
- Proven driving experience, especially as a delivery driver or transportation driver, demonstrating reliability and safety consciousness.
- Strong knowledge of local streets, traffic laws, and navigation tools.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude towards passengers.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical ability to assist passengers with luggage or mobility needs when required.
- Prior experience operating various types of vehicles such as limousines or buses is a plus.
