Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in daily food operations. This role is essential in ensuring smooth kitchen functions, maintaining food safety standards, and assisting with meal preparation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a strong work ethic, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate.
Duties
- Assist with food preparation and cooking under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff
- Support food handling and storage procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Help with meal assembly and plating for service
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Serve food to customers or assist servers during meal service
- Follow all food safety protocols and proper sanitation practices
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is a plus but not mandatory
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, and serving techniques preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures is advantageous
- Experience in the food industry demonstrates reliability and understanding of fast-paced environments
