As a private Support worker, you will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to 2 individuals in their home and community. We are looking for candidates who possess excellent communication skills, are compassionate and patient, and have strong organizational abilities. You will work closely with clients, their families, to ensure their well-being and comfort. Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: supporting independent living skills (meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry), assist with finding volunteer and work placement opportunities, medication reminders, support on outings, planning weekly activities, supervision and companionship. Qualifications: The successful candidate must have an updated criminal record check containing the Vulnerable sector check portion and driver’s license/vehicle for outings. An understanding of developmental disabilities/mental health aspects is considered an asset.
