Medicine Hat College invites applications for a regular, full-time Administrative Coordinator in the School of Trades & Technology.
A little about the role:
Reporting to the Dean in the School of Trades & Technology, this position is responsible for anticipating, scheduling, and organizing administrative operations to ensure effective day to day management of procedures and workflow. The role maintains strong working relationships with the School’s leadership, and administrative units across the College. Its primary focus is to provide multifaceted administrative support to the Dean and Associate Dean, including proactively organizing efficient operations within the School office and ensuring all administrative and compliance functions are carried out accurately and on time. This position also serves as a key point of contact and support for students, the public, and MHC employees who interact with the School.

As a successful applicant you'll have:
- Business administration diploma or equivalent OR an equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
- 3 years related office experience.
- Knowledge of financial reports, Human Resources processes, and other administrative policies.
- Knowledge of Post-Secondary system, POPA and collective agreements.
- Knowledge of the Apprenticeship system, or industry experience in a trade-based business, is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment, where multitasking, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly are essential to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
Terms of Employment
Hours: 35 hours per week
Wage Rate: $28.58 per hour (Start Rate); $32.07 per hour (Job Rate)
