Working under minimal guidance and direction, this role utilizes enhanced skills to perform varied and specialized activities to support leadership and daily organizational operations. Key responsibilities for this position include direct support to leadership staff and some clinical support for our clients. Operational support includes supporting administrative colleagues to prioritize and problem solve issues related to operational demands, timekeeping, connect care support, financial reporting processes, minute taking, scheduling, fleet management and coordinating multiple appointments with multiple stakeholders. The successful candidate will have knowledge of the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement to schedule staff, process payroll transactions and resolve discrepancies consistent with applicable processes and guidelines.

Required Qualifications:Some post-secondary education.
Additional Required Qualifications:The successful applicant must have 3–5 years experience in administrative support in a healthcare setting and be familiar with and extremely skilled with the use of computers. Experience with the following is required: Microsoft Office Suite with an advanced knowledge of Outlook/Calendar, Excel and Teams; e-People including experience with Manager services (timekeeping, RMS, and delegate roles); Markview; iProcurement; iExpense; Grand & Toy ordering; IT requests; & Financial Services. Highly developed communication skills, organization skills, interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills are essential to this position. The successful candidate must also have previous experience and knowledge of functional cost center strings, timekeeping codes, collective agreements and assisting with the process of hiring. The successful candidate must also have the ability to work independently and with frequent interruptions, while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality. The successful candidate also requires the ability to sit for extended periods, perform repetitive keyboarding, and lift up to 20 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:Completion of an Administrative Professional diploma, certificate, or associate degree in business administration, office administration, human resources, or a related field. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training and strong conflict resolution skills.
