Position Summary

The Designer / Print Production Technician is responsible for preparing artwork, operating production equipment, maintaining workflow efficiency, and assisting in the completion of signage and print projects while upholding company quality standards. Graphic Design & File Preparation.

• Create and modify customer artwork using Adobe Illustrator and related software
• Prepare print-ready production files
• Ensure artwork sizing, bleed, resolution, and colour accuracy meet production requirements
• Communicate with customers regarding artwork revisions when required

Print Production

• Operate large format printers, plotters, laminators, and related equipment
• Load and prepare print materials and media
• Monitor print quality and troubleshoot minor production issues
• Maintain accurate job tracking and production timelines

Material Handling & Finishing

• Weed, laminate, trim, mask, and finish signage products
• Prepare materials for installation and delivery
• Maintain organization of inventory and production areas

Installation Assistance

• Assist with sign and vinyl installations when required
• Follow all workplace safety procedures during production and installation tasks
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment

Customer Service & Teamwork

• Maintain professional communication with customers and coworkers
• Work efficiently within production schedules and deadlines
• Contribute to a positive and team-oriented work environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Adobe Illustrator required
• Class 5 Driver’s License
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift materials 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Sign shop or print production experience
• Vinyl installation/ PPF or vehicle wrap experience
• Knowledge of RIP software and large format printing

• Monday to Thursday.
• 10 Hour Day
• Flexible scheduling may be available

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
