Lizard’s Pub & Eatery is looking for an experienced part-time cook to join our team.
First things first:
-This is primarily an EVENING & WEEKEND position.
Evening and weekend availability is mandatory.
- Previous kitchen experience is required.
If you’re looking mainly for weekday/daytime hours or your first kitchen job, this probably isn’t the position for you.
We’re a small pub with a small crew, so we need someone who can walk into a kitchen and know what needs to be done.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has solid previous kitchen experience
- Is a self-starter who doesn’t need to be constantly directed
- Is comfortable working independently when necessary
- Can make good decisions on the fly when things get busy
- Can handle orders, prep and kitchen responsibilities confidently
- Understands that cleaning is part of the job — not somebody else’s job
-Has Food Safety certification
- Is willing to jump in and be part of the entire team
At Lizard’s, front of house supports back of house, and back of house supports front of house. We’re small enough that teamwork matters.
We need someone dependable who can be trusted to take ownership of their shift, see what needs doing and get it done — without waiting to be told every step.
