Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Funeral Director and Embalmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of empathy and professionalism, providing support to families during their time of loss. This role involves overseeing all aspects of funeral services, ensuring that each service is conducted with dignity and respect. The Funeral Director will also be responsible for managing the logistics of the funeral process, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Duties
- Coordinate and conduct funeral services, including preparation and presentation of the deceased.
- Meet with families to discuss their needs and preferences for funeral arrangements.
- Prepare necessary documentation, including death certificates and permits.
- Manage the logistics of transportation for the deceased and family members.
- Provide support to families before, during, and after the funeral service.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Valid Funeral Director & Embalming License
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy and customer service.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for handling caskets and other equipment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
