Hey there! We are Medicine Hat's BBQ, hot tub and propane store and we need someone with muscle-power, people skills and a strong work ethic. This is an entry-level, full-time, permanent job. Tons of variety with a friendly work atmosphere (we work hard, but we have fun too!). Regular hours: Monday to Friday.
Are you physically strong, capable of heavy lifting on a daily basis? Would you enjoy a variety of tasks including routine cleaning duties? Are you comfortable dealing with customers in a retail setting? Are you a self-starter with a strong work ethic? Are you looking for an entry-level job? WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Deliveries: assisting with BBQ and hot tub deliveries (involves lifting heavy items)
- Cleaning/Tidying: routine cleaning of products (BBQs, hot tubs) as well as floors, bathrooms and common areas
- Mechanical: building new BBQs & breaking down old BBQs, re-certifying propane cylinders, filling propane
- Customer Service: greeting and interacting with customers; writing up invoices & taking payment
- Learning about our products: taking the initiative to learn about about our products so you can assist customers
WHAT WE NEED:
- Physically strong and capable of daily heavy lifting
- Friendly attitude and customer service skills
- Mechanically inclined and safety-minded
- Strong English language and communication skills
- Self-starter; able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must possess valid Class 5 driver's licence
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $15.00 per hour
