Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential units, or common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels with care and efficiency
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas regularly
- Care for flooring through carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and appropriate maintenance to ensure a spotless appearance
- Assist with basic cooking tasks or meal preparation when required to support guest or resident needs
- Manage custodial supplies inventory and ensure cleaning equipment is maintained in good working condition
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or resident requests promptly and professionally
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping, custodial work, or janitorial services; hotel or residential cleaning experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, sanitation practices, and laundry procedures
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment safely
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards and janitorial supplies management
- Previous experience with housekeeper management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining efficiency in a busy environment
