We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and passionate Ice Cream & Pastry Creator to join our team. This role combines the art of handcrafted ice cream production with the preparation and presentation of fresh pastries and desserts. The ideal candidate enjoys experimenting with flavors, maintaining high-quality standards, and creating memorable treats that delight customers.
Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare and produce a variety of handcrafted ice creams, frozen desserts, pastries, cakes, cookies, and baked goods.
Develop new seasonal and signature flavors, recipes, and dessert offerings.
Decorate and finish pastries, cakes, and desserts with creativity and consistency.
Measure, mix, bake, freeze, and assemble products according to recipes and quality standards.
Monitor ingredient freshness and ensure proper storage and rotation of all products.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, baking, and production areas in accordance with food safety regulations.
Operate and maintain baking, mixing, and ice cream production equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist with inventory management, ingredient ordering, and minimizing product waste.
Ensure consistent product quality, appearance, texture, and flavor.
Collaborate with team members to improve recipes, production methods, and customer offerings.
Support special orders, catering requests, and seasonal promotions as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience in pastry, baking, ice cream production, or dessert preparation is preferred.
Knowledge of baking techniques, frozen dessert production, and food handling procedures.
Creativity and enthusiasm for developing new recipes and flavor combinations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Food Safe Certification (or willingness to obtain certification) is considered an asset.
