Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Store Clerk to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist with sales transactions, and ensure the store operates smoothly. This role is perfect for individuals with strong communication skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus to better serve our diverse customer base.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
• Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
• Dispatch for Bob's delivery service. Take orders from customers over the phone and dispatch drivers accordingly.
• Unload beer and liquor pallets and stock the shelves with the products received
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties responsibly
• Conduct product demos and upsell items to enhance customer experience and sales
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked
• Provide product information and technical sales support when needed
• Assist customers with inquiries via phone or in person using professional phone etiquette
• Manage inventory levels and restock shelves as necessary
• Support store cleanliness and organization to create an inviting shopping environment
• Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management

Requirements

• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable
• Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred
• Must be able to lift heavy products; Aprox. 20-40lb per box
• Knowledge of POS systems, merchandising, and basic math skills required
• Ability to perform product demos and engage customers effectively in technical sales or upselling
• Excellent organizational skills and time management to prioritize tasks efficiently
• Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills for customer interactions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed; a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset are essential

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
