Hello!
We are a warm, active family in Medicine Hat seeking a caring, organized, and dependable full-time nanny/family assistant to support our three children and help keep our home running smoothly.
This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys children, thrives in a busy family environment, and can confidently balance childcare, organization, and household support with minimal supervision.
About Our Family:
We have a 7-year-old boy, a 4-year-old girl, and a 9-month-old baby boy.
During weekday afternoons, the primary focus will be caring for our infant son, while also helping support our older children after school and during evening routines.
We are looking for someone who is structured, calm, engaging, and educational in their approach to childcare.
Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
We are looking for someone who can support us with the following responsibilities:
-Primary daytime care for our 9-month-old son
-Formula feeding, naps, bedtime routine, and developmental play
-Assisting with after-school care for older children
-Occasional transportation to kids activities
-Meal prep
-Children’s laundry and tidying/organizing
We are looking for someone who:
-Has experience caring for multiple children, including infants
-Is calm, organized, and proactive
-Can confidently manage busy evening routines
-Finds tasks independently
-Is warm and nurturing while also maintaining clear boundaries
-Communicates clearly and positively with children
-Enjoys creating structure and routine
Preference will be given to candidates who:
-Have Early Childhood Education training
-Are studying education, nursing, or a related field
-Have previous nanny or household management experience
Requirements
Infant care experience is mandatory
Experience with multiple children is mandatory
Valid CPR & First Aid certification
Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
Valid driver’s license
Non-smoker, non-vaper
Comfortable driving children in a family-provided vehicle
