MiniEarthworks Inc. is seeking an experienced Mini Excavator Operator to assist with residential and commercial excavation projects in and around Medicine Hat.
We currently have multiple projects ready to schedule and are looking for someone who can start immediately.
This position is temporary to start, with the potential for ongoing seasonal or long-term employment for the right individual.
Requirements: • Previous mini excavator operating experience • Ability to work safely around utilities, structures, landscaping, and existing property features • Reliable transportation • Positive attitude and willingness to assist with general site tasks when required • Must be dependable and able to work independently
Mandatory Equipment Competency Assessment
All applicants must successfully complete a paid mini excavator competency assessment before being hired. This assessment will evaluate:
• Safe machine operation • Excavation and grading skills • Situational awareness • Ability to follow instructions • Overall competency and professionalism.
Work Includes:
• Residential excavation • Trenching • Site grading and preparation • Gravel base installation • Material handling and general site support
