Do you enjoy cleaning? The Home Inn Express by d3h™ Medicine Hat is now hiring a Part-Time Housekeeping Room Attendant. 8 hours shifts will vary between the hours of 8am-5pm. Weekends are required as well as varying weekdays shifts.
Job description:
We are looking for a housekeeper to join our cleaning team. You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in guestrooms and common areas, self-managing your time and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be legally entitled to work in Canada, be able to follow operational guidelines, and provide cleaning services that make guests feel warmly cared for and welcome.

What You'll Do:
- The room attendant is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms and public areas with the high standards established within the hotel system.
- Be a team player who can also work well independently.
- Maintain a safe and secure workplace for co-workers and guests.
- Consistently ensure rooms are ready to rent.
- Notify supervisor and/or maintenance of necessary repairs.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with guests.
- Keep your work areas well-maintained and stocked.
- Must have basic English communication skills.
Your Availability:
- Mornings, Afternoons, Weekdays, Weekends, Holidays
- Monday - Saturday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
- Sundays: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
- You must be available for Saturdays and Sundays
Your Background:
- You must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Have a keen eye for cleanliness.
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective, positive communication with guests and co-workers.
Ability to work weekends, if required.
