Full job description

Build a great career in parts — one delivery at a time.

Are you dependable, organized, and the kind of person who likes being on the move instead of stuck behind a desk all day? Do you enjoy helping people, keeping things running smoothly, and being part of a busy team where every day is a little different?

We're looking for a Parts Driver to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to get their foot in the door in the parts world and build a long-term career. You'll be delivering parts, supporting our shipping and receiving process, helping keep the department organized, and learning how a busy parts operation works from the ground up.

In short: you'll be a key part of the team that keeps our customers, technicians, and dealerships moving.

What You'll Do

As our Parts Driver, you'll be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering and picking up parts, cores, and equipment. You'll also support the parts department with shipping, receiving, stocking, and general organization.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Delivering parts to customer locations as required.
  • Picking up and returning parts and cores from customer locations.
  • Completing return slips and providing them to the shipper/receiver.
  • Picking up and delivering parts and equipment between dealership locations.
  • Obtaining customer signatures for deliveries when required.
  • Working with the shipper/receiver to check off incoming orders and notify parts staff when parts have arrived.
  • Helping unload shipment trucks and ensuring documents and undelivered parts are handled properly.
  • Checking bills of lading, invoices, orders, and shipment records for accuracy.
  • Recording shortages or damage before signing off on shipments.
  • Preparing shipments by labeling packages, recording weights, and using proper packing materials.
  • Stocking shelves and ensuring parts are placed in the correct locations.
  • Notifying the Inventory Controller of any discrepancies.
  • Informing parts staff of core returns and ensuring cores are labeled properly.
  • Keeping the parts truck clean inside and out. Yes, both matter.
  • Completing safety checklists on parts vehicles.
  • Reporting vehicle issues or maintenance concerns to the Parts Manager.
  • Helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized parts department.
  • Keeping aisles clear, sweeping floors, taking out garbage, and helping the store look professional.
  • Advising management of any unsafe or hazardous materials.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who takes pride in doing the little things rights. This role is a great fit for someone who is reliable, safety-minded, and enjoys being part of a team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • The ability to stay organized in a busy environment.
  • A commitment to safe work practices.
  • The ability to lift, move, and handle parts and shipments as required.
  • A team-first mindset.
  • Previous experience in delivery, warehouse, shipping/receiving, automotive, agriculture, trucking, or parts would be an asset — but we're willing to train the right person.

Why Join Us?

This isn't "just a driving job." It's a chance to learn the parts business and grow with a dealership team that values hard work, dependability, and a good sense of humour.

You'll get to:

  • Learn the parts side of the dealership from experienced people.
  • Build knowledge that can lead to future opportunities in parts, shipping/receiving, inventory, or counter sales.
  • Work in a hands-on role where you're not sitting in one place all day.
  • Be part of a team that keeps customers and technicians moving.
  • Develop practical skills in logistics, inventory, customer service, and dealership operations.
  • Start building a career in an industry that depends on good parts people.

Who This Role Is Perfect For:

This role may be a great fit if you:

  • Like driving and being active throughout the day.
  • Enjoy helping people and solving small problems before they become big ones.
  • Are the person who notices when something is out of place.
  • Don't mind rolling up your sleeves to keep things clean and organized.
  • Want to build a career, not just collect a paycheque..
  • Can handle a busy day without turning int o a human check-engine light.
