  • Provide friendly, professional customer service by answering questions and assisting patrons, participants, and user groups.
  • Respond calmly and appropriately to participant concerns, incidents, and emergency situations.
  • Work collaboratively with recreation, aquatics, fitness, customer service, and operations staff to support facility activities and events.
  • Contribute ideas and identify opportunities to enhance programs and participant experiences.

What you bring

  • A positive attitude and a passion for recreation, community, and helping others.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • The ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliability, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
  • The ability to remain calm and professional in changing situations.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to creating safe, inclusive, and welcoming recreation spaces.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, school breaks, and statutory holidays as operationally required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 16 years of age.
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification, or the ability to obtain.
  • Previous experience in recreation, camps, sports, volunteer programs, leadership activities, or customer service is considered an asset.
