Owner-Operator Telecommunications Technician (Rogers) – Medicine Hat AB

Worldwide Satellite Inc. is looking for skilled telecommunications technicians to join our team as Owner-Operator Contractors. Bring your vehicle, tools, and experience, and we’ll provide the work.

What You’ll Do
- Install and activate Rogers Internet, TV, Home Phone, and Security services
- Troubleshoot and resolve service issues on-site
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high-quality workmanship
- Work independently while following safety standards and procedures
Requirements (Must-Have)
- A reliable vehicle suitable for ladders and equipment (pickup truck or cargo van preferred)
- Physically fit and comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to pass background/security screening
- Strong accountability to ensure jobs are completed properly and customers are satisfied
- Technically proficient with strong troubleshooting skills in consumer electronics and telecommunications equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts
Assets (Nice-to-Have)
- Direct experience working with Rogers systems, services, and infrastructure
- Previous experience in coax, fiber, twisted pair, internet, TV, or security installation
- Telecommunications installation experience (or similar technical field)
