This is an immediate full-time opportunity, and the position will be filled as soon as we find the right candidate.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain a high standard of security.
- Safeguard clients against theft, property damage, unauthorized access, and trespassing.
- Patrol assigned areas on foot and/or in a company vehicle.
- Record activities and incidents in a security notebook or electronic reporting system.
- Respond appropriately to safety and security concerns.
- Perform other duties related to ensuring the security and safety of the site, clients, visitors, and staff.
Requirements
- Experience working with shelters or vulnerable populations.
- Valid Alberta Security Service Worker Licence.
- Reliable mobile phone for safety and emergency communication.
- Reliable personal vehicle.
- Strong observation and communication skills.
- Must be available to work weekends.
