EXPERIENCED SECURITY GUARDS – IMMEDIATE HIRING

Complete Security Solutions Inc. is currently seeking reliable, professional, and experienced Security Guards for immediate opportunities in Medicine Hat, Alberta.

We currently have opportunities particularly suitable for individuals looking for daytime work and approximately 20 hours per week, as well as candidates interested in casual, part-time, or special-event security assignments.

Seniors and pensioners are welcome and encouraged to apply.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

Current and upcoming opportunities may include:

• Day shifts
• Approximately 20 hours per week
• Part-time positions
• Casual security shifts
• Special-event security
• Weekend opportunities
• Additional shifts based on availability and operational requirements

Candidates who are dependable and able to maintain a consistent daytime schedule will be given consideration for ongoing assignments.

Additional shifts may also become available for candidates who are interested in working more hours.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Depending on the assigned site or event, responsibilities may include:

• Maintaining a visible and professional security presence.
• Conducting regular interior and exterior patrols.
• Monitoring entrances, exits, common areas, and restricted areas.
• Providing access control and verifying authorized personnel and visitors.
• Assisting with security at special events and temporary assignments.
• Responding appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, disturbances, and suspicious activity.
• Enforcing site rules, procedures, and client requirements professionally.
• Providing assistance and direction to tenants, visitors, employees, customers, and members of the public.
• De-escalating conflicts and handling difficult situations calmly and professionally.
• Completing incident reports, daily activity reports, patrol reports, and other required documentation.
• Using mobile applications, computers, and electronic security reporting or patrol software.
• Immediately reporting serious incidents or concerns to supervisors, management, emergency services, or the client as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must possess:

• A valid Alberta Security Services Licence.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Good written English communication skills.
• Ability to complete clear and accurate security reports.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and members of the public.
• Ability to remain calm and make appropriate decisions during challenging situations.
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and follow site-specific procedures and post orders.
• Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.

Previous security experience is preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The following will be considered an advantage:

• Previous security industry experience.
• Experience working at commercial, residential, retail, corporate, institutional, or event-security assignments.
• Experience completing incident and occurrence reports.
• Experience with access control, CCTV monitoring, patrol duties, or customer-facing security assignments.
• Experience using security reporting, patrol, incident-management, or guard-management software.
• First Aid / CPR certification.
• Conflict resolution or de-escalation training.
• Strong customer-service experience.

COMPENSATION
