About Us: Riverstone Transport is a reputable and growing transportation company specializing in the safe and efficient hauling of cattle and grain. We take pride in our commitment to quality service and maintaining strong relationships with our clients across Canada and the United States. To support our expanding operations, we are seeking experienced and dedicated Owner Operators and Company Drivers with a preference for those experienced in both cattle and grain transportation.
Position Overview: As a part of the Riverstone Transport team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the successful transportation of cattle and grain to various locations throughout Canada and the US. This position requires 3 years of commercial driving experience, and experience in both cattle and/or grain hauling.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently transport cattle or grain to designated destinations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer.
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and safety guidelines.
- Ensure the well-being of the animals during transportation (if hauling cattle).
- Monitor and maintain the quality and integrity of the grain cargo.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- MUST have 3 years of commercial driving experience.
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A or equivalent).
- Preference for candidates with experience in both cattle and grain hauling.
- Clean driving record and current commercial driver's abstract.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Willingness to travel to various locations in Canada and the US.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
