Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and contribute to the construction of outdoor spaces. This role involves working on various landscaping projects, assisting with construction including irrigation installation, sod, trees, shrubs, hardscape, seeding, etc. The ideal candidate is physically capable, detail-oriented, and eager to develop skills in landscape construction.

Duties

• Assist with landscape construction including grading, topsoil, planting, and mulching
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment such as excavators for various landscaping tasks
• Support irrigation system installation to ensure proper water distribution
• Help with construction projects such as building retaining walls, patios, or pathways
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance to ensure safety and functionality
• Assist in site preparation for new landscaping projects or renovations
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure adherence to safety protocols during all activities

Skills

• Experience with excavators, irrigation systems, gardening, and horticulture is preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of landscape construction practices and techniques is preferred but not required.
• Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining hand tools and power tools is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, digging, and operating heavy equipment when necessary
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality work
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new skills related to landscape construction
• Class 5 license (or higher) required.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
