Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Handy Man to join our hotel maintenance team. This role involves performing a variety of repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks in our hotels. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and maintenance skills to ensure operational efficiency. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where customer service and safety are paramount. Salary will commensurate with the experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
• Perform repairs involving electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Supervise maintenance tasks performed by team members or contractors, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal guest needs promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all staff.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical work, and general repairs.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance best practices across various systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
• Communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with team members and management.
• Prior experience in hotel settings is highly desirable.
• This position is integral to maintaining the operational integrity of our facilities through expert repair work, proactive maintenance, and safety practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
