Summary
We are seeking a skilled Body Shop Estimator to join our team in Canada. Based in our facility, the estimator will play a vital role in assessing vehicle damages, preparing estimates, and ensuring customer satisfaction while supporting our commitment to excellence in automotive collision repair.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate vehicle damage by inspecting vehicles thoroughly and accurately.
- Prepare detailed repair estimates using industry-standard software.
- Communicate effectively with customers, insurance adjusters, and technicians to facilitate smooth repair processes.
- Assist in prioritizing repairs and managing workflow within the body shop.
- Ensure all estimates comply with company standards and insurance requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and estimates.
- Support sales efforts through upselling additional services when appropriate.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns professionally.
- Qualifications
- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience, demonstrating familiarity with vehicle damage assessment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly.
- Experience with automotive estimating software is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic cash handling skills are advantageous but not essential.
- Prior experience in sales or upselling is a plus.
