Job Summary:
Applicant must possess an insatiable desire to attain the highest levels of quality and service in all areas of the hotel. The Front Desk Agent is passionate about sales and customer service functions as they relates to guest registration, reservations and revenue collection.
Job Accountabilities:
· Recognizing and greeting the guests. Responding appropriately to information requests.
· Using suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms and advance reservations.
· Promoting specified company marketing programs and ensuring customers know about amenities within the facility.
· Operating the front desk office equipment such as switchboard and computer.
· Checking in guests.
· Making courtesy calls.
· Accurately processing and controlling room reservations.
· Completing paperwork necessary for front desk operation such as registration folios, credit card vouchers, cashier reports, room reports and prepaid reservation log.
· Performing any tasks assigned by property management such as training of other employees, laundry.
· Communicating issues to fellow co-workers and management.
· Complying with the hotel’s Occupational and Health Safety Guidelines and Regulations.
Job Qualifications:
· None. Will train applicant but preference given to those with prior customer service exposure.
Pay: $15.04-$24.20 per hour
