Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Greenhouse Labourers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of working with Sweet Bell Peppers and Mini Cucumbers. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help maintain a vibrant, productive space where plants thrive. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on skills in Greenhouse Vegetable Production while contributing to sustainable growth and plant care excellence.
Responsibilities
- Working in a 3 acre Greenhouse with Sweet Bell Peppers and Mini Cucumbers. Job Duties Include: Harvesting, Pruning, Twisting, Clean up, possible some maintenance.
Requirements
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or have a current Alberta, Canada Work Permit
- Must live in the Redcliff/Medicine Hat, Alberta area
- Must have Your Own Transportation to and from greenhouse
- Start time is 6:30am (variable day end times), Monday to Saturday
- No Cell Phones Allowed in Greenhouse working area.
- Working Conditions under Agricultural / Farm Rules
- Prior experience working in a vegetable greenhouse is an asset but not necessary.
- Must be Physically Fit
- Enjoy working in a Sunny, Warm to Hot and Humid Environment.
- Ability to standing all day working in the crops
- Enjoy working alone and in a team environment in a timely fashion
- Capable of lifting vegetable baskets and move carts.
- Strong hand eye coordination
- Ability to work at heights on Scissor lifts tending to the crops
- Focus and Attention to detail
- Good organizational skills
- Capable performing tasks with accuracy and speed
- Good Attitude and Motivation
